New Look for Eye of the Hawks

Fans relief at update and easy to find new look

Sunday 9th July 2000

Hawks fans around the world today showed relief at the new look Eye of the Hawks after it has been online but un-serviced for over two months.

Tony Preece, the editor of Eye of the Hawks had this to say in his editorial, "I know from the stats I get that a lot of you have been visiting the site regularly over the past couple of months. Please let me first appologise for the severe lack of updates or info on the site since the end of the season. I hope you like the new look. I almost gave up on the site over the summer, but going past the Arena recently I started to miss that match night atmosphere that makes it a lot more valuble than the hundreds I've just paid for a Rovers season ticket! Roll on next season, whatever league we may be in."

Hawks fan Mick Haslam showed his pleasure in the relaunch with these comments, "it's a big improvement on previous years, I just hope it's the same on the ice!".

Messages have been coming into Eye of the Hawks from all over the world wishing the site and the Hawks every success for next season.

Eye of the Hawks have also introduced a new email address, Hawks@Eurosport.com which should provide a much greater level of service for anybody wanting to send mail through to the site.
