Tony Preece was born in Blackburn, Lancashire in January 1979. After studying HND Computing at Blackburn College he worked for a national computer manufacturer alongside various duties with Blackburn Rovers Football Club.
In 2001 he moved away from the IT industry spending a small amount of time with an outsourcing organisation in his home town before moving to Leeds in the spring or of 2002. He took up a role with a telephone & internet bank and currently acts as a Service Quality Analyst with responsibility for a suite of quality based reports and, identifying issues and solutions to business quality issues.

He has also worked as a volunteer Classroom Assistant at a local primary school, helping Year Two (age six and seven) children with literacy, numeracy and computer skills.
Tony is also a keen photographer, shooting with a Canon EOS 350D (Rebel XT) and uses a Sony Cybershot T100 for backup. His photographs can be seen on this website & are shown on flickr. He was recently commissioned to shoot photos of a schools May Day celebrations.
Tony was married to Sarah-Jane in April 2008 and currently lives in Birkenshaw, West Yorkshire with his wife and three daughters, Amelia, Hannah, and Chloe.
